Recent Creatures and stuff
A few pic of recent finds in the back yard. [Photo] Desert Spiny Lizard We have a number of these large Lizards on the property. For some reason this one let me get close enough to take a picture. Only had my phone, so it's not as sharp as I would like. [Photo] Desert Nightsnakes - Hypsiglena chlorophaea Information In the 26 years living at this location this is the first natural snake I have found. It looks like a baby rattlesnake but its not. The tail is smooth. [Photo] Kangaroo Rat Something was excavating under the foundation. This is what I caught. [Photo] Pack Rat This is a new resident. This is the first time I have seen them on the property. [Photo] Marigold blossom [Photo] Rain falling on the pond This is the desert. So when ever rain falls it something special.
